Some of our affiliated clubs have shared some of their upcoming walks, and are warmly welcoming new visitors. Please contact the clubs directly to make a booking. Many are free, or low cost to join, so have a browse, and choose the walks you want to join. You can filter by Walk Grade, Distance or Region. If you click on one of the tags in the boxes under each walk, you can see all events that are tagged the same.

Why bushwalk with a Club?
- Discover new places you may not have had the confidence to navigate yourself, its a relief to know you won't get lost.
- Learn from more experienced walkers, or give back by passing on your knowledge to others sharing your walk
- Learn specialised outdoor skills, first aid training and advanced navigation, as well as extensive leadership training
- Clubs provide safety and support in case of injury, weather, wildlife and personal security.
- Clubs are a low cost way of getting outdoors on a regular basis. With most club memberships under $50 for the year, bushwalking clubs are a great budget-friendly recreation activity
- Most clubs have public liability and personal accident insurance, a great peace of mind in case something happens
- Clubs offer the opportunity distribute loads across the group, particularly on day and multiday walks. Some clubs even offer free or low-cost hire equipment to their members.
- Clubs are a source of social connection, sharing amazing experiences in the outdoors, as well as other social activities, with others who appreciate it.
Who are these bushwalks for?Â
Whether you are a seasoned bushwalker, wanting to try out a club for the first time, or are new to bushwalking and want to learn the basics within the safety of an experienced, supportive group (without getting lost!), you will find a walk that suits you.
What are the walk gradings? Â
- Grade 2: No bushwalking experience required. A hardened or compacted surface which may have gentle hill sections or occasional steps. Walks up to 10km.
- Grade 3: Suitable for most ages and fitness levels. Tracks may have short steep sections, a rough surface and many steps. Walks up to 20km.Â
- Grade 4:Â Bushwalking experience recommended. Tracks may be long, rough and very steep. Directional signage may be limited.Â
