The club caters mainly for bushwalking (anything from easy half day walks to more strenuous multi-day walks), cross-country skiing, canoeing and kayaking, cycling, social camping and social gatherings. A sub-group of largely retired members meet on the 4th Wednesday of each month, our "mid-week walkers' for relatively easy walking and socializing in an area within 1 to 2 hours of Shepparton. Most of SAC's activities are based in Victoria, but over the years the club has organized activities in all states of Australia. We endeavour to have at least one activity per month.
