Getting There

Take the Western Highway to Beaufort. Travel west through Beaufort for 11.8 km and turn right onto Ferntree Gully Road.  Follow this for 7.5 km, ignoring any side roads, until you enter the Mt Buangor State Park. The first turn left will take you to Middle Creek camping ground.

Note: As at August 2012 many areas of Buangor State Park are still affected by damage caused by fire in 2010 and heavy rainfall and storms in early 2011.  Park staff have commenced repairing roads, walking tracks and visitor facilities and this work will continue for some time. Check with Parks Victoria for the latest information prior to visiting this park.
