  • Social activities

The club has regular walks on the second, fourth and (when it occurs) the fifth Tuesday of each month. There are three groups of walkers - the Ramblers, the Hikers and the Trekkers. Members may walk in different groups providing it is within their capability. The Ramblers group walk 7 to 10 kilometres on flattish terrain or with gentle undulations, on well-formed tracks – walks which all members of the club should be capable of completing. The Hikers group walk 10 to 14 kilometres at a faster pace often including hills. The Trekkers group walk 15 to 20 kilometres and caters for those who wish to engage in more challenging walks with steeper terrain.

These regular walks are completed in four to six hours and are mostly located in forested locations in West and Central Gippsland area such as Bunyip State Park and Mount Worth Park.

Every year the club has an autumn and spring week away trip which includes day walks from a base camp (usually a caravan park).

Club members also contribute to the improvement of local walking tracks with track clearing in the Mount Worth State Park and the Bunyip State Park.
