From the Erica Hotel on the Moe-Walhalla Road, head south briefly and turn left in to Mathiesons Road. The track runs south through forest, then generally east along the edge of farming properties before crossing Jacobs Creek. From here, head uphill along McConachys Road and cross the sealed Tyers-Walhalla Road before descending along Coopers Creek Road to the old Coopers Creek Township. Pass the (now vacant) Coopers Creek Hotel and follow the road out of Coopers Creek to where it crosses a bridge over the old rail line. Turn left on the rail line at the old Platina Station site and follow the rail trail back to Knott's Siding.
