Walk Description

Baldry's Crossing - Greens Bush - Two Bays Track - McLarens Dam - Kings Falls - Seawinds

Starting at Baldry's Crossing (1) follow the Main Creek walking track until you reach the first track junction Short Circuit Walk (2). Turn right (North) for about 100 metres then turn left (West) along the Long Circuit Walk (3).

You will descend into a pleasant Tree Fern Gully (4). Continue and turn right at the next Track Junction (5) until you reach Greens Road (6).  Go North about 150 metres and follow the track on the left side of the road (7).  Walk along this track to Limestone Road (8).

Cross over the road and follow Hyslops Road north to Browns Road. Cross over Browns Road and follow the Two Bays Track (Steffanie Rennick Walk) (9) down to the valley of Drum Drum Alloc Creek and climb past a memorial seat (10) to Duells Road (11).

Walk along Duells road to Yambil Road (12) along Yambil road to a small Reserve (13). Walk through this reserve to Goolgowie Street and follow north to Waterfall Gully road.

Turn right (East) for about 300 metres to the Arthurs Seat State Park Entrance (14). Follow track to McLarens Dam (15). Walk beside the south side of the dam to the end of the dam then climb back up to Waterfall Gully Road (16). Continue uphill on Waterfall Gully Rd for a short way then follow a track on the left around the gully to Kings Falls (18).

Walk north from Kings Falls to a track junction (19) but continue north until you reach the Cook Street Track Junction (20).  Follow the right hand track up to Seawinds and the car park.

If you have time visit visit the delightful Seawinds Garden featuring indigenous and exotic formal gardens, along with sculptures by William Ricketts. The Garden is open to vehicles at 8:00am and closes at 5:00pm weekends (late opening until 8pm between November and March).

Getting There

Drive to Rosebud at at Jetty Road turn south past the Rosebud Primary school, past the Freeway until you join with Browns road. Continue along Browns rd until a roundabout at Purves rd. Continue straight ahead about 2.2 kms and you will reach Baldrys Crossing.
