Introduction

Maroondah Bushwalking Club is based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The Club runs over 350 walks and activities throughout the year, including day walks, base camps with day walks, extended & overseas walks and social activities.

Details

We are a club of about 500 hundred members with a comprehensive program of walks and other activities throughout the year, at levels from beginners through to experienced. Features of the club include: day walks - Saturday, Sunday and weekdays mostly Wednesday, extended walks in many areas of Australia, skiing trips, cycling, base camps,  training - first aid,  navigation, leadership, etc. club meetings with guest speakers on a wide range of topics "Footnotes", our monthly newsletter lending library of books, maps  (available at meetings)hire Equipment (backpacks, tents, stoves, sleeping mats, jackets, etc.)insurance cover whilst walking with the Club
