Our mission is to work with land managers and other authorities to plan, develop and maintain a linked network of public walking tracks through public land in Central Victoria. Patron: Steve Moneghetti, former Olympian and Commonwealth Games champion marathon athlete: Athletics Australia selector for 2012 London Olympics. The Great Dividing Trail Association is an incorporated, not-for-profit, community organisation. It was established in 1992 by a small group of volunteers who wanted to develop and promote walking tracks linking the great gold cities and townships of central Victoria. GDTA offers a Guided Walks Program to GDTA members and visitors.
