The Monda Track follows the crest of the Great Dividing Range and is easy to navigate along walking tracks, management roads and grassy firebreaks. There are extensive views of mountain ash forests, blackwood trees, daisy bush, mint bush, silver wattle and tree ferns. This walk involves a 540m climb and a car shuffle.
This is a circuit walk that explores the slopes of Flinders Peak in You Yangs Regional Park. The undulating track includes some short steep sections as it weaves its way around and between granite boulders. There are great views out over the volanic plains.
Starting from the Erskine Falls carpark, you walk up to the imposing Erskine falls, then along the Erskine river, past Straw falls, to see Splitter Falls and past the cascades to the end of the Erskine river at Lorne. Car shuffle required.

A steep climb for approximately 1.5 hours past waterfalls and through eucalyptus forest to the sub alpine vegetation at the top of Mt Buangor. The walk is well signposted up to the summit. Beyond the summit the track is not signposted until the reservoir road.
Walkers will view excellent coastal scenery, go past small coastal holiday villages and see offshore rocky reefs. The Royal Australian Navy has its gunnery range at Flinders. This walk is best at low tide to avoid walking along the cliff tops and having to enter private property (you should obtain prior permission). Car shuffle required.
Galada Tamboore is part of Kulin land for which the Wurundjeri, the traditional owners, are custodians. The name means "Creek Waterhole". The Merri Creek runs through the middle of the area which has extensive grasslands. The walks, on sealed and gravel tracks take in views of the Merri Creek, which include basalt cliffs at a bend in the creek, and a variety of bird life in a bushland setting.
The Great South West Walk has been developed as a bushwalking trail suitable for most ages and abilities comprising short 2 hour loop walks, full day walks, or for the intrepid, the whole 250km loop that begins and ends at the Maritime Discovery and Visitor Information Centre in Portland Victoria, Australia.
Sample the varied scenery and mining relics of the upper reaches of the Lerderderg River. The walk includes a satisfying hill in the morning, and a pleasant stroll along a water race above the river in the afternoon.
