Getting There

Melways:  Map 2D F8 or Map 44 H4

Car parking:  Car parking available at the picnic area and along Yarra Boulevard.  On weekends and public holidays the area is likely to be extremely busy and parking in very high demand.

Public transport:  Buses provide access to the Studley Park section via Studley Park Road, Kew.  Bus access to the Fairfield section is via Heidelberg Road.

Parks Victoria:  Yarra Bend Park

Facilities:  There is excellent shade and wind protection from extensive tree cover.  There are picnic shelters, picnic tables, BBQs drinking fountains and toilets.  The Boathouse has cafĂ©, take-away and restaurant facilities and boats and canoes are also available for hire.

Dogs:  Yarra Bend Park is a multi-zone park.  Dogs are permitted in most areas of the park, but must be kept on a leash in certain areas, and kept out of dog exclusion areas.
