Replacement of Toilet Block - Ritchie's Hut
 
Parks Victoria are currently in the process of replacing the existing toilet at Ritchie's hut.

The works are scheduled between February and April 2017.

There may be no toilet available for use between this period as the old toilet will be decommissioned. Please ensure you walk at least 100 metres from the river or any water way, dig a hole and bury your waste and toilet paper very carefully.

Getting There

Where do we start?: Neds Gully Car park, Cathedral Ranges State Park

How do we get to the start?: Drive to Healesville then follow Maroondah Highway north east through Narbethong, and Buxton and turn right (east) at the Cathedrals Sign (Brown Tourist sign) along Cathedral Lane, turn right again (south) along Little River Road tfor 2.7 km. Neds Gully main car-park is on the left. Avoid the 15 minute restricted parking area.

    The views from Cathedral Peak are stunning.
    The climb up is unrelentingly uphill and tiring, but the views make it all worthwhile.
    The regrowth from the bushfires and standing burnt stumps also makes for interesting views.
