Another great overnight hike with children, having taken 4-10 year olds on this hike and camping overnight in a wide snow grass plain before you reach the summit. The walk across JB Plain from JB Hut to the snow gum line is wonderful.

Good mix of terrain, from grassy plains, wooded areas and a couple of steep climbs. Views are spectacular.
The track was generally marked well until you get to the top and then it's a bit unclear about where to go.
From the carpark our GPS tracked us for 11.7km and it took us 5 hours with one hour for lunch and a couple of stops along the way.
