Training materials for planning and running extended (multi-day) walks – base camps and pack carries – have been loaded onto the Bushwalking Victoria website at http://www.bushwalkingvictoria.org.au/walk-leader-training.html

These materials are a PowerPoint presentation and a handbook for prospective extended walks leaders. Clubs may adapt these materials for their own training purposes.

Additional materials are associated with some units – eg, a set of maps to support the navigational leadership training.
