The works are scheduled between February and April 2017.

There may be no toilet available for use between this period as the old toilet will be decommissioned. Please ensure you walk at least 100 metres from the river or any water way, dig a hole and bury your waste and toilet paper very carefully.

At the Threatened Species Summit on 16 July 2015, the Federal Minister for the Environment committed to releasing an action plan for the Leadbeater's Possum, after earlier in the year uplisting the possum from Endangered to the Critically Endangered category of the EPBC Act threatened species list.

A draft Action Plan was released on Friday 19 February. This plan replaces the plan published in 1997.

The plan is open for THREE MONTHS for comment.

Parks Victoria thanks everyone who attended the Community Information Days on 5 and 6 February at Point Nepean National Park or emailed the project team with comments, queries and suggestions regarding the Master Plan renewal.

As part of Phase 1 for the project, Parks Victoria reminds interested persons that submissions, surveys and responses should be submitted by Friday 4 March 2016. This will allow time to consider all feedback to help inform the draft master plan, which will be available for community review and comment mid-2016.

For further information on the project and how to have your say, please refer to the project webpage:
