Community Engagement for Wilsons Promontory Cruises Proposal Now Open


Parks Victoria has received a market led proposal for the operation of wilderness cruises at Wilsons Promontory National Park. The proposal was submitted by Pennicott Wilderness Journeys, an experienced eco-tourism operator based in Tasmania. Please find more information about the proposal in the attached summary document.

During March 2017, Parks Victoria will be undertaking engagement to better understand community and user's views on the proposal. Review the proposal, contribute opinions and ask questions by:
  • Visiting http://lets-talk.parks.vic.gov.au/promcruiseproposal
  • Completing a short survey (either online or in hard copy)
  • Discussing the proposal with staff at Wilsons Prom (General Store and Visitor Information Centre) from Thurs 9-Mon 13 March; and Thurs 16-Sun 19 March. Specific times will be advertised on the project website. 
Consultation period closes Sunday 26 March 2017.
